Travel RN HospiceMorgantown, West VirginiaWe're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in Morgantown, WV. The right RN should have 1 year of experience in Hospice or end-of-life care. Read below for more requirements.As an RN in Hospice care, you will provide compassionate nursing care to patients with terminal illnesses, focusing on symptom management, comfort, and quality of life. You will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary hospice team to support patients and their families through the end-of-life journey.As an RN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans focused on comfort and symptom reliefAdminister medications and treatments to manage pain and other symptomsMonitor patient condition and adjust care plans accordinglyProvide emotional support and education to patients and families about disease progression and care optionsCoordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other hospice team membersEnsure accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient statusAdvocate for patient wishes and advance care planningMaintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients and familiesFollow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelinesParticipate in bereavement support and family counseling as neededThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a Hospice setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.RNs in hospice care must be empathetic, patient-focused, and skilled at providing holistic care that respects patient dignity and cultural preferences.Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
