Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Upstate New York

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Block scheduling requests considered but not guaranteed. Floating to other units as needed.

Highlights:

• High-volume, 64-bed Emergency Department treating diverse patient populations from newborns through geriatrics
• Comprehensive case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialty equipment experience includes Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Unit includes 40 acute beds, 2 triage rooms, 2 trauma bays, 6 super track, 10 CDU beds, and 6 behavioral health beds

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN license (all compact and multistate licenses must be disclosed)
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience with pediatric patient exposure
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be current at time of application)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
