Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students ages 5–22 in a dynamic school-based setting near Leesburg, VA. This full-time position offers a schedule of 32–40 hours per week, typically 8am–4pm, with the student instructional day running from 8:45am–3pm. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to empower students with a range of communication needs, making a daily difference in their educational journeys.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active Virginia SLP license required
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs), as well as experienced SLPs and SLPAs
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and verbal behavior strategies
• Experience in school or healthcare pediatric settings preferred
• Skilled in teletherapy and familiar with AAC devices such as Proloquo2 and Touch Chat (highly desirable)
• Comfort or previous experience working with students who may display challenging behaviors, including aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction
• Team-oriented and excellent at collaborating across disciplines

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy for students with diverse needs, both in-person and via teletherapy, as appropriate
• Participate in IEP development, implementation, and meetings
• Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Support students utilizing AAC technology, collaborating with support staff to maximize communication outcomes
• Offer guidance and training to teachers and families on speech and language strategies
