Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care accurately using electronic health record systems
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience (at least one completed assignment in a general setting)
• Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new clinical environments
