As part of the team, the engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) Program. The Work: Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for Production professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military applications and networks. As part of the Trusted Security Solutions Team, you will ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented. The candidate will be working in an agile development environment on RedHat Linux-based OS and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/sustainment/development efforts. The candidate should be a well-rounded production engineer that has experience with hardware and networking. The candidate should expect to learn necessary skills through hands on experiences and should work well in a team. Duties to include hardware design and development for CDS product, factory deliverable buildup of CDS product, accompany Sysad personnel with infrastructure maintenance tasks, support new project proposals, support site deployments of CDS products(installation, integration, accreditation and training). Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The production team works within the Deer Creek facility with limited ability to work remotely. Members of the production team are expected to travel at a minimum 25% of the time. Production team members are also expected to be available for emergency trips to support customer operational needs. Who You Are: You will be supporting the TSS Program in all phases of the software development process. You will be ensure the execution of software development and programming primarily in Java and/or Python in a team environment potentially supporting multiple projects or task orders supporting the maintenance, modernization and capability upgrades to multiple software products developed and sustained by this program. You will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers. Trusted Security Solutions Basic Qualifications Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance Familiar with Virtual Machine and Hypervisor configuration- Maintenance and integration of Windows & Linux Systems Familiar with Network configuration & Design experience Familiar with System integration and testing experience Willing to travel up to 25% Desired Skills Familiar with Visio-based rack elevation and interconnect drawing creation/updates Familiar with Physical server, network, storage, and workstation installation into datacenter environment Previous experience on Air Force DCGS considered a plus Familiar with Red Hat Linux, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
