Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in the Los Angeles area. This role involves performing and assisting with advanced radiographic and interventional procedures within the cardiovascular lab environment. The technologist will operate sophisticated imaging equipment, aid physicians during specialized cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; Licenses/Certifications including ARRT certification, Radiologic Technologist (RT) license if applicable, and Fluoroscopy (FLUORO).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; three years' technical experience; experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.
• Essential Functions: Operates diagnostic imaging equipment for contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system during cardiac catheterization; assists physicians with specialized procedures; manages computer systems for technical settings; positions patients and manipulates equipment as per protocol; activates fluoroscope and cinefluorography; monitors patient responses and environmental safety; documents procedures accurately; provides patient instructions and assists with interventional procedures.
• Additional Information: Ensures equipment functionality, maintains safety standards, and supports clinical procedures for cardiac interventions.
