New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) General Pediatrics

Where You Will Work:

LCH 7A is a 15-bed general pediatric unit. We see ages ranging from newborn to 18 and care for a wide variety of diagnosis including respiratory, gastrointestinal, surgical, endocrine and many more. Our unit prides ourselves on working well together while caring for the most precious little ones and their families!

Were Looking For:

• 
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  
  



• 
  Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  
  



• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  
  

What Youll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

Atrium Health Levine Childrens Hospital (LCH) has taken the community to another level of service to provide care for the growing population of children in our region. At 247 beds, LCH is the largest childrens hospital between Atlanta and Washington DC. It serves high acuity patients as the flagship childrens hospital within the innovative Atrium Health and offers a full complement of over 125 pediatric subspecialists in over 30 different pediatric specialties. We have 4 pediatric hospitalist teams, a newly expanded 24 bed PICU and 20 bed Cardiac ICU, an 85-bed Level IV NICU, and an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation floor. Levine Childrens Hospital is also Charlottes only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. LCH has been named a Best Childrens Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for 18 consecutive years and is nationally ranked in 7 pediatric specialties. Additionally, Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and Atrium Health Levine Childrens Hospital have earned Magnet re-designation from The American Nurses Credentialing Centers (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program.
