About the Company About Vitality Bowls Vitality Bowls specializes in making delicious acai bowls, which are a thick blend of the acai berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients. Additional antioxidant‑rich menu items include smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads, and panini. All items of the menu are made fresh and in non‑cross contamination kitchens to ensure that those with food allergies will feel safe eating at Vitality Bowls. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar or artificial preservatives are used, giving each item the purest taste possible. Job Responsibilities Lead the team, manage shifts and delegate tasks Show exemplary knowledge of the job and excellent customer service Handle upset customers/problems with food in a polite way, ensuring customer satisfaction Accept deliveries and communicate inventory status to managers/owners Check daily petty cash and manage the break schedule Attend management meetings and assist with interviews, evaluations, and training Memorize the training material and keep the front lobby and outside area clean Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls and take orders over the phone Prep food according to proper procedures and continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby Communicate with other staff to ensure all orders are made correctly and in a timely way Communicate with managers about the schedule and complete all opening and closing duties Perform additional tasks requested by manager and handle special circumstances Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers Qualifications Become food certified Must be able to handle a basic computer and POS system, and handle cash and credit cards Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and have a sense of urgency Maintain a clean and work‑appropriate personal appearance Come to work with a positive attitude and be willing to work well with others Leadership abilities Benefits Competitive salary Employee discounts Flexible schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
