Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS)Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking an experienced and passionate RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) to join our dynamic care team. As a key member of our management team, the ADNS will assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing services department. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly range of $50- $55. Salaried role.Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Services departmentMeet the clinical needs of all residentsAssist with maintaining, reviewing, and developing clinical policies and proceduresEnsure that Nursing policies and procedures are followedMonitor and review staffing needs, schedules, and work assignmentsOversee the certification of nursing assistants and track required in-service hours yearlyEnsure proper medication administration, handling, storage, and auditingParticipate in surveys and inspections by government agencies and implement plans of correction for deficienciesPerform other duties as assigned by managerCurrent, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this stateMinimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; B.S.N. preferredCPR certifiedMinimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facilityAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionsAbility to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general publicKnowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term careAbility to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and proceduresPatience, tact, professional demeanor, and enthusiasmWillingness to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing nursing practicesAbility to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situationsComprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practiceCompetitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramEmployer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
