Job Description
Person should be able to play a role of Agile practitioner and Kanban coach. Primary responsibilities include:
- Facilitate standup meetings
- Document and maintain detailed artifacts on the execution framework, processes, workflows, etc
- Development & continuous improvement of the cloud specific execution model
- Facilitation of ad-hoc technical meetings (prior to defect and story capture)
- Align local & remote work teams and resources across matrixed organization
- Ensure teams are working on the right priorities and there is sufficient level of work ready to be started
- Perform continuous backlog grooming & facilitate grooming meetings as needed
- Ensure data quality, integrity and currency across all of the data points
- Bridge the gap of work executed outside of Rally (e.g. team without Rally access or training is responsible for delivery)
- Strategic alignment of tasks & defects to user stories up to features, projects, portfolios, epics
- Manage the release train & flow of completed work into the release train
- Plan and align work to sprints, iterations, projects releases
- Identify and capture need for spikes and refactors
- Facilitate planning & issue remediation meetings
- Manage overall team capacity and workload, ensure optimal team usage (minimal thrash, maximum throughput)
- Produce & summarize key management reporting and performance metrics
- Administer the Cloud team Rally workspace (resources, licenses, board design & configuration)
- Be the SME and coach for the cloud work teams as well as the trainer for new resources
Qualifications
Preferred skills: Scale Agile Framework; Rally; Kanban; coach experience
