Qualifications:

• Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida
• Experience working in schools or with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and educational documentation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Compassionate approach and patient demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ therapy needs within a school setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student learning and development
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Offer training and support to staff and families on strategies and adaptive techniques
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of multiple students or schools as assigned
