Job Summary (List Format): Senior Business Analyst Electronic Document Management System (eDMS) Implementation
- Lead business process analysis and requirements development for the implementation of a new enterprise Electronic Document Management System (eDMS) to replace fragmented, paper-based processes.
- Collaborate with business partners, project leadership, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Utilize NCDIT Business Analysis Team tools and templates for comprehensive documentation of requirements.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, business rules, and process flows.
- Develop procurement-related documentation including business requirements, Statements of Work (SOW), evaluation criteria, and vendor questions.
- Manage user stories, epics, features, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs using agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test planning, test case development, and defect management.
- Create business analysis artifacts such as context diagrams, functional decomposition, workflow diagrams, process models, use cases, data flow diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio and Orbus Infinity.
- Ensure knowledge and application of SDLC, change management, system implementation methodologies, and best practices in document retention, records management, information governance, document security, and access control.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Provide clear and effective written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation communications to various stakeholders.
- Work onsite 2-3 days per week as required.
Key Tools & Technologies:
- Jira, Confluence, Orbus Infinity/iServer365, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and related project management and documentation tools.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience supporting Electronic Document Management Systems, ECM, records management, or digital transformation projects.
- Experience with enterprise architecture/business process management tools.
