Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while serving patients in a home health setting in Eufaula, AL. Minimum Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program required. Bachelor’s or Doctoral degree acceptable if meeting state licensure requirements. Current Alabama Occupational Therapy license required prior to start of assignment. Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation required. Mileage will be reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient. Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire. Ability to evaluate patient functional status, develop OT plan of care, document visits and progress notes per agency policy, and communicate outcomes to supervising staff and physicians. Experience providing occupational therapy services in home health or community-based settings preferred. Experience with patient evaluation, home safety assessments, ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and caregiver education preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 (5x8). Weekly Hours Guarantee: 40. On-call/Weekend Requirement: none. Coverage Area: Eufaula, AL. Candidate should be prepared to travel between patient homes within the coverage area. Dress Code: Navy scrubs and closed-toe shoes required.
