Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist — Outpatient — Crosby, TX

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Crosby, TX, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. The role focuses on evaluation, individualized 60-minute evaluation plus treatment, development and modification of treatment plans, delegation of discipline-specific therapy services, patient and family education, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, write functional goals, and develop treatment plans focused on return to community activities.
• Experience with documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and support students and other therapy staff, when assigned.
• Adherence to state Practice Act, professional code of conduct, and completion of required continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions preferred.
• Participation in performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with clinical outcome measures preferred.
