Reports to: Jr / Sr High School Principal and Activity/Athletic Director Hourly: $18.25-$20.95 Work year: Monday - Thursdays; 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (Aug through Mid-June) Job Summary: West Grand School District 1-Jt is looking for a Jr / Sr High School Administrative Assistant to the Principal and Activity/Athletic Director who is a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, professional, polite and attentive while also being accurate.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher, or 3 years of responsible office experience.
- Skilled in use of computer business programs,
- Demonstrated organizational skills, efficiency and ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
- Demonstrated effective staff and public relations skills.
- Willingness to take direction from supervisors.
- Demonstrated a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Serves as the school receptionist greeting the public and answering phones.
- Supports the Principal in office ordering and purchasing.
- Enroll new students and request transcripts.
- Collaborates with the technology team to help manage the high school web page and web calendar.
- Prepare materials needed for meetings, procedures and events.
- Coordinates student academic record, discipline and other student records as identified.
- Ensure that records are kept and filed in accordance with State Law and Colorado Department of Education.
- Maintains confidentiality of student records and communication.
- Serves as the Jr/Sr High School substitute coordinator.
- Receive and sort school mail.
- Maintains the school inventory.
- Work in a positive manner with all staff, students, vendors and the public.
- Collaborates with the Activity/Athletic Director on scheduling.
- Maintains the student management system and trains teachers and staff about the tool.
- Collects and helps manage the lunch money and food service database.
- Administrative assistant to the Principal and Activity/Athletic Director.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Jr / Sr high school principal.
