Medical Assistant

We are hiring Medical Assistants for a growing family practice in Miami specializing in pain management and spinal care , providing compassionate, patient-centered treatment for acute and chronic conditions. Our team focuses on high-quality care, teamwork, and a supportive clinical environment.

The Medical Assistant (MA) will support providers in a fast-paced family practice with a focus on pain and spinal conditions. This role is ideal for a dependable MA who is comfortable with both clinical and administrative duties and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a specialized medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Room patients and obtain vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, height/weight)
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits
• Administer injections and medications as ordered (within scope)
• Perform EKGs and other basic in-office procedures
• Assist with pain and spine-related treatments and procedures
• Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and properly prepared

Administrative Duties

• Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out
• Verify patient information and insurance
• Handle prior authorizations and referrals as needed
• Answer phones and address patient questions professionally
• Support front office staff when needed

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office (family practice, pain management, or orthopedics preferred)
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Strong communication and patient-service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
