University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide essential support and care to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety in their homes. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with mobility and transferring to prevent falls and injuries.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and behavior to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in direct care or related field is beneficial but not required.
Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients and their families.
Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Ypsilanti, MI.
Willingness to undergo background checks.
Physical ability to perform care giving duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
