Graphic Designer Summary of Position - This position is responsible for creating and delivering exceptional, on-brand assets for Dollar Tree, to increase brand awareness and support marketing’s calendar of events, including company’s goals, programs, seasons, and campaigns. The Graphic Designer ‘s main responsibilities are web campaigns, social media assets and in-store signage, however, other supporting digital assets and print collateral will be assigned as needed. This role will require someone who is knowledgeable of emerging trends in graphic and visual design, developing creative solutions that achieve business goals, and raise the bar for the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an impeccable eye for design, and a winning track record of delivering content on time and on brand. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Create/design web campaigns, social media assets, in-store signage, print collateral, and other assets as needed. Coordinates the aesthetic of all mediums mentioned above regarding graphics, copy, layouts, photography and illustration. Create and maintain detailed templates for design projects. Have a strong grasp on emerging design best practices and trends (colors, fonts, layout, etc.) and great attention to detail. Ensures design and copy guidelines are met with a strong adherence to branding. Ensures deadlines are met. Openly receive constructive feedback from team and modify work to achieve marketing goals. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with tight deadlines while maintaining a high-level of execution. Strong organizational skills and pristine file management from new document to archive. Self-motivated – a successful candidate should proactively manage their workload, look beyond the bare minimum of what’s required and strive to improve upon their assignments. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field Three (3) years experience in graphic design. Portfolio of previous design work required. Proficient on Mac platform Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.) Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple projects with varied turnaround times. Must be able to work quickly & efficiently and maintain the same high-level of execution. Experience in professional photo editing.
