Manufacturing Production Associate - Parkersburg

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Manufacturing Production Associate to work with a leading window and door manufacturer in Parkersburg, WV. This role involves working as part of an assembly team to perform multiple steps in the production of window and door units, including the use of hand tools, labeling, and packaging.

Shift:

• 1st Shift 7:00am to 4:00pm

Pay Rates:

• 16.00 - 17.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Manufacturing Production Associate:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours a day (entire shift).
• Experience or proven ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to consistently perform repetitive daily manufacturing tasks.
• Ability to learn and perform repetitive job tasks.
• Able to safely work with and around moving equipment.
• Ability to learn and rotate to two (2) or more different responsibilities and/or positions on the assembly line.
• Operate equipment/tools that require close control, adjustment, and following production orders.

Skills Requirements for Manufacturing Production Associate:

• Experience reading basic blueprints, schematics, or technical production orders.
• Prior experience operating, adjusting, and monitoring manufacturing machinery.
• Experience using measuring tools to verify workpiece dimensions against quality standards.
• Previous experience performing quality control (QC) checks and inspecting products for damages.
• Experience being cross-trained or rotating across two (2) or more different positions on an assembly line.

Role for Manufacturing Production Associate:

• Fabricate and produce component parts for the final assembly of window and door units.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand the production process.
• Operate and monitor machinery while measuring workpieces for accuracy.
• Inspect products for quality and damages, reporting any incidents to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Location: Parkersburg. This position is based in the Parkersburg, WV area.
