Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the diverse backgrounds of patients and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that the therapeutic approach respects and considers the clients' cultural contexts. \n
- Provide individualized therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions virtually to address a broad range of mental health issues, fostering resilience and promoting emotional well-being among clients. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to offer coordinated and comprehensive care, ensuring that patients receive holistic treatment. \n
- Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate mental health support and intervention strategies during emergencies. \n
- Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment approaches, coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental health. \n
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and protection of patient information. \n
- Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance personal and professional developmental skills. \n
- Stay up-to-date with current research, evolving best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in the field of mental health therapy. \n
You will work with a diverse array of clients, including those from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivity in treatment will be essential in helping patients cope with their unique challenges and improving their mental health outcomes. Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required. \n
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills necessary for effective therapy and collaboration. \n
- A strong commitment to culturally competent care and ongoing professional development in mental health. \n

- Experience working in a telehealth environment is advantageous, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. \n
- Previous work with multicultural populations will be considered a strong asset. \n
- Knowledge of community resources and programs beneficial to clients facing socio-economic challenges is a plus. \n
