Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of recent pediatric ICU experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) of a children's hospital
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• 13-week assignment length
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Floating may occur between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (TN or compact license required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric ICU experience required, 3+ years preferred
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
• BSN required for this position
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiovascular patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Holiday coverage required: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must work 2 of the 3; if only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, must work at least 1
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning
• Local candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application, as RTO requested after an offer is made will not be honored
• Vaccination status must be disclosed as part of the application process
