Our organization is in search of a Breast Radiologist to enhance our team in Northern Virginia.

We are looking for a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist to join our Community Division . This role provides the chance to engage in a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal imaging within a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, serving facilities such as Prince William Hospital, Haymarket Medical Center, and Gainesville Outpatient Imaging Center . The position merges the benefits of a vibrant community practice with the academic resources and connections of a prestigious university health system.

The ideal candidate will allocate around 90-95% of their time to clinical duties and 5-10% to administrative and service-related tasks , with the ability to adjust as the division progresses. This role operates on a hybrid model , providing on-site coverage for procedures while allowing remote work for screening mammography interpretations.

• Analyze a wide array of breast imaging studies, including Mammography , MRI , and Ultrasound .

• Conduct and interpret image-guided breast procedures , such as localizations and biopsies , as necessary.

• Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions and offer consultative support to referring physicians and technical staff.

• Work closely with surgical oncologists, oncologists, primary care providers, and pathologists to maximize the value of imaging studies.

• Participate in the division's clinical schedule .

• Contribute to divisional quality improvement, workflow enhancement, and patient safety initiatives .

• Engage in peer review, protocol formulation , and marketing/recruitment activities .

• Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and administrative personnel to ensure high-quality imaging protocols and prompt service.

• Promote a culture of collegiality, inclusivity, and respect within the Division and the organization.

• Help elevate the professional standing of our Radiology department in the communities we serve.

• A valid M.D. or D.O. degree ; board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology .

• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging .

• Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

• Demonstrated clinical skills , a collaborative approach , and a strong commitment to patient-centered care .

The base salary range for this position is $496,996 - $571,664 for a full-time clinical role. Individual compensation will be based on fair market value and the qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and education of the selected candidate. Please note that this salary range does not include any potential incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible roles.
