Job Description Overview Auburn University at Montgomery Campus Police Department invitesapplications for a part- time Police Dispatcher. All employees at AUM are considered to be Responsible Employees andhave the duty to immediately report information that has thepotential to adversely impact safety or wellness on ourcampus. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and CampusCrime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires public educationalinstitutions to collect and maintain certain safety and crimeinformation. Due to the role this position plays on our campus,this position has been identified as being a Campus SecurityAuthority (CSA). CSAs are individuals designated by the Universitywith responsibility for supervising or ensuring safety of others(including student employees in the course of their employmentduties) and have a duty to report crimes observed or reported tothem. Responsibilities Receive, relay, and/or transmit routine and emergency calls to police, fire, and other public agencies. Maintain log of radio transmissions, telephone calls, and otherinformation. Maintain incident reports of criminal activity or complaints; assist in ticket administration. Monitor fire alarm system. Issue parking decals.
