Job Summary This is a six‑month contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a full‑time role at the end of the year, pending budget. Responsibilities Execute intermediate editing tasks including string‑outs, selects reels, and rough cuts while working closely with an editor or producer. Edit content for EO.F's platforms, including video clip‑outs and full‑length podcasts. Support editors by preparing project files, importing media, organizing timelines, sourcing stock music and footage, and handling transcript preparation and formatting. Ingest and manage digital footage from production, ensuring all necessary media is properly cataloged and accessible. Maintain editorial workflows by archiving and documenting all associated media efficiently. Perform quality control by identifying any discrepancies in audio, video, or graphics to uphold our production standards. Contract Details This is a six‑month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a full‑time role at the end of the year pending budget. The weekly rate is negotiable depending upon experience and the duration of the contract. In this role, you will report to our Senior Video Editor, Gavin Tatro. Our headquarters are in Austin, TX.
