Builtech is currently seeking a  Project Accountant ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own the monthly billing cycle for assigned projects, including billing packages, approvals, supporting documentation, and submission readiness. 
• Review subcontractor pay applications, lien waivers, sworn statements, and backup documentation for accuracy, completeness, and payment readiness. 
• Resolve billing discrepancies, missing documentation, approval delays, waiver exceptions, and pending change order issues. 
• Maintain project accounting records, including contracts, change orders, schedules of values, billing records, lien waivers, and project files. 
• Serve as the accounting contact for assigned projects, coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, owners, title companies, and accounting staff. 
• Maintain accurate project financial information in Sage 300, Procore, and company systems; support reporting, job cost review, closeout, and process improvement initiatives. 

Qualifications: 

• 3?7 years of project accounting, construction accounting, billing, or related experience preferred. 
• Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 
• Experience with construction billing, pay applications, lien waivers, contracts, change orders, schedules of values, and job cost accounting preferred. 
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, follow-up, and deadline management skills. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office; Sage 300 and Procore experience preferred. 
• Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time. 
• The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers. 
• The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment. 
• Valid driver?s license.

Compensation: $75,000-90,000+++
