We are seeking ambitious, high-performing College students with a strong interest in pursuing a career in financial services to join the WSFS Bank 2027 Summer Internship Program. This paid, 10-week internship provides a dynamic and engaging experience featuring meaningful project work, one-on-one mentorship, executive exposure, professional development opportunities, volunteer initiatives, networking events, and collaboration with fellow interns.

Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals and contributing to real business initiatives across a variety of bank departments. This is an exciting opportunity to build your skills, expand your professional network, and explore rewarding career paths with one of the region's leading financial institutions.

Business Banking: Business Banking supports the teams that provide financial solutions to small businesses and commercial clients, helping them manage cash flow, access lending, and achieve their growth goals. Interns will gain insight into relationship management, business development, credit and lending strategies, and how the bank partners with businesses across its communities.

  • High-performing interns may be considered for continued employment opportunities with WSFS Bank upon successful completion of the program.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A business-related or related college major is preferred.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have completed a minimum of one (1) full year of college by May 2027
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be available for in-person and virtual interviews.
  • Must be available for in person orientation with Human Resources.
  • Ability to work up to 5 days on-site at a physical office location within the WSFS Bank footprint.
  • Must be able to participate in this full-time position (40 hours per week) within a continuous program, starting first week of June and ending early to mid-August.
  • Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication is required.
  • Must have critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Must have organizational skills and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
WSFS Bank will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Salary Range:
$18.00 - $21.00 Per Hour

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.

In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards. WSFS provides a competitive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) plan; life, accident, and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs); and wellness programs. Additional benefits may include paid parental leave, military leave, vacation and other paid time off, sick leave in accordance with applicable state laws, and paid holidays. Benefit offerings are subject to eligibility requirements, legal limitations, and may vary based on an Associate's location and employment status.
