We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity near Lynchburg, Ohio. This position offers a mix of on-site and remote coverage, making it an excellent fit for candidates with varied interests in radiology. Whether you are fellowship-trained or a generalist, this opportunity provides flexibility and competitive compensation.

Position Overview

Specialty : Radiology
Start Date : January 6, 2025
Duration : 13 months with the potential for extension
Schedule :
- On-site Coverage :
  - Monday-Friday:
    - Mammography: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    - General Radiology: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Remote Coverage :
  - Monday-Sunday:
    - General: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM
    - Neuro-focused: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
    - MSK-focused: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
    - General: 12:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Workload Details

Approximately reads per 8-hour shift
Modality Focus :
- General Radiology (CT, Ultrasound, MRI, plain films)
- Neuro (fellowship not required)
- MSK (fellowship required)
- Body Imaging (fellowship not required)
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Technology Platforms :
- EMR: Epic
- PACS: Change Healthcare (McKesson)
- Dictation: PowerScribe One
- Worklist Manager: RamSoft

Qualifications

Board Certification in Radiology required
Active Ohio license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
Fellowship training preferred for certain modalities
Familiarity with Epic EMR and PowerScribe One
