Payments Engineering Manager, responsible for leading a full-time engineering team focused on payment systems, including invoice processing, payment automation, and system integrations. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow the engineering team, providing coaching and performance management Own the payments roadmap in collaboration with product management, prioritizing engineering work Build and maintain the payment systems, ensuring operational excellence and system reliability Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading teams of 5 or more Hands-on technical background in complex domains, particularly in payments or fintech Strong understanding of operational metrics related to uptime, latency, and incident response Experience with integration-heavy platforms and managing accountability within teams Fluency in AI tooling and its application in engineering processes
