Before School And After School Child Care Assistant

Z-Kids has various openings for Before School and After School Child Care. The Childcare Assistant will provide assistance in the daily care of the elementary-aged children attending the before and after school program. Responsibilities include supervising and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for the children, preparing material to support classroom activities, exhibiting enthusiasm and initiative, maintaining positive communication with parents and co-workers, performing health-related functions as required by law, and other duties as assigned by the Program Director. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience and a desire to work with children, knowledge of early childhood development, completed 16 clock hours of annual training, in addition to CPR, first aide, and bloodborne pathogen training, and being cooperative, dependable, positive, and enthusiastic. Schedule: 4.5 hours Monday through Friday (6:30 am to 8:30 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm). Compensation: $14.28 per hour.
