Responsibilities

• Install and service access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and electric strikes
• Install mag locks, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware
• Run, route, terminate, and label low voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6)
• Terminate and connect field devices back to control panels
• Perform panel wiring and system connections
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems
• Assist with installation of network devices and wireless access points
• Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform service work as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial security or low voltage installation experience
• Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and structured cabling
• Willingness to travel to Lenoir, NC as needed
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Honeywell, or similar platforms
• Manufacturer certifications a plus
• Experience working in commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments
• BICSI, OSHA, or lift certifications
