This position offers the flexibility of remote work while ensuring access to a dynamic outpatient office that embraces modern telehealth solutions. Your work schedule will typically follow a Monday to Friday rhythm, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for occasional evening shifts based on the needs of patients. You will be equipped with advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless documentation and communication.

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, considering the intersection of psychiatric and medical conditions that affect patients’ mental well-being.

• Design and execute comprehensive treatment plans that encompass both psychiatric and medical elements, ensuring integrated care tailored to each individual.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow medical professionals to provide coordinated care, guaranteeing that all aspects of a patient’s health are addressed.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in their ongoing treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, contributing to the collective knowledge and strategies of our team.

• Remain informed about emerging research and best practices in mental health to continuously enhance service delivery.

Your expertise will be utilized to support a diverse group of patients, many of whom contend with dual diagnoses involving chronic illnesses such as lupus, fibromyalgia, and substance use disorders. Our clients require a therapist who can navigate the complexities of both their mental health needs and their medical conditions, ensuring a comprehensive and effective approach to care.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Exceptional understanding of the mental health needs of individuals facing co-occurring medical issues.

• Familiarity with integrated care delivery methods and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and related healthcare technology.

• Demonstrated capacity to uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a focus on integrated care.

• Experience working with chronic health conditions and their psychosocial impacts is highly desirable.
