As a Security Officer Visitor Verification in Hollywood, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, verify visitors and residents, and conduct routine patrols that help to deter security-related incidents. This access control role blends professionalism, customer service, and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the residential location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant activity and communicating with residents, property management, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
