Job Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 26 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. NBRC‑RRT certification. BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and NRP may be required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
