Location: 30654 11th Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98003 We are seeking a Korean‑speaking volunteer to provide friendly, one‑on‑one companionship to an older adult living in an Adult Family Home in Federal Way. About the Participant Speaks Korean only Has some memory impairment Is social, friendly, and eager to connect, especially with other Korean‑speaking individuals Previously worked as a hairdresser/barber Enjoys: Being outdoors and going for walks Watching football and television Playing simple games on a tablet (GrandPad) Casual conversation and social interaction Volunteer Role Provide in‑person companionship Engage in conversation in Korean Share time walking, sitting outdoors, or enjoying light activities Help reduce isolation and support emotional well‑being Volunteer Preferences Korean‑speaking required Male volunteer preferred, but female volunteers are welcome Friendly, patient, and comfortable interacting with older adults Commitment can be flexible (weekly or bi‑weekly visits welcomed) Why Volunteer?
