POSITION OVERVIEW

Florida Construction Connection is working with a specialty subcontractor seeking an On-Site Assistant Project Manager to support project delivery and coordination between the office, field teams, and General Contractor.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Assist the Project Manager with execution of the company’s contracted scope from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate with the General Contractor, field supervisors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Track procurement, material deliveries, manpower needs, and schedule commitments.
• Support cost tracking, change orders, pay applications, and progress reporting.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope requirements and potential conflicts.
• Participate in site meetings, track action items, and follow through on commitments.
• Support quality, safety, punch work, and closeout requirements.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• At least three years of construction experience supporting a Project Manager.
• Experience on high-rise projects with a subcontractor or General Contractor.
• Proficiency in Procore and strong document management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, construction sequencing, cost control, and safety practices.
• Clear communication, organization, and a strong sense of urgency.
• A desire to work on-site and build a career in project management.
