Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity runs from mid-August through early June and offers positions working with either middle or high school students with mild to moderate needs. With manageable caseloads and onsite-only assignments, you'll engage with learners and colleagues while making a genuine impact.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Teaching License
• Special Education (SPED) Endorsement
• Experience or comfort teaching students with mild or moderate behavioral needs
• Willingness to assist with toileting support if required
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and individualized support to a caseload of approximately 25–30 students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure integrated support
• Monitor student progress, collect relevant data, and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and participation
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult on appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Provide behavioral support and positive reinforcement strategies
