Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid-Onsite)
Experience: 8+ years preferred
- Must-Have Skills
- COBOL strong hands-on development
- JCL job creation, modification, troubleshooting, abends
- DB2 SQL, queries, troubleshooting
- CICS online transaction processing
- VSAM file handling and troubleshooting
- z/OS / MVS
- TSO/ISPF
- Mainframe production support & troubleshooting
- Batch processing and job scheduling
- Incident/Problem/Change management
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination
These skills align closely with current Phoenix Mainframe Developer requirements, particularly COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and production support.
Best candidate profile: Someone with strong COBOL + JCL + DB2 + CICS + VSAM and recent hands-on production support experience
