Hospital Dietitian*

The Job

San Bernardino County is recruiting for a Hospital Dietitian who is responsible for performing nutritional assessments, consultations, and specialized diet instruction at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC). Dietitians develop and implement plans of nutritional care based on an assessment of needs and consultation with physicians and other health care team members regarding appropriate nutritional care, as well as evaluating and monitoring individuals receiving enteral/parenteral nutrition. Conditions of employment include a pre-employment process which includes a background investigation, fingerprinting, physical exam, and drug screening. Minimum Requirements

Registration: Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have one (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian. Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply. Additional compensation is associated with positions requiring the use of bilingual skills. Testing of bilingual skills may be required to receive additional compensation. Candidates fluent in Spanish with experience in a clinical/outpatient setting are highly desirable.
