Description

Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager supporting a portfolio of client facilities in Midland, TX. This 4-month contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced facilities professional with leadership experience and a strong understanding of building operations. You'll oversee daily facility operations, manage vendor relationships, support safety initiatives, and ensure multiple client sites operate efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of client facilities, ensuring efficient and compliant building operations.
• Lead facility operations by coordinating maintenance activities, vendors, and service providers.
• Manage vendor contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality service delivery.
• Support health, safety, environmental (HSE), fire, and life safety programs across assigned facilities.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance activities and oversee building systems and infrastructure.
• Provide oversight of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and life safety systems.
• Travel periodically to support multiple client sites throughout the assigned region.
• Partner with engineering staff, mobile technicians, facility coordinators, and client stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Respond to facility emergencies and provide after-hours support when necessary.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.
• Utilize computer systems to manage facility operations, documentation, and reporting.

Must Have Skills

• 3-5 years of facilities management or building operations experience.
• Leadership experience, including managing or directing facility teams.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and fire/life safety systems.
• Experience managing vendor contracts and service providers.
• Strong customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience supporting multiple facilities or regional portfolios.
• Experience within commercial real estate or corporate facilities management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.
• Experience overseeing facility budgets or operational reporting.
