Pay From: $38 Per Hour

MUST: 3+ years of experience as a surgery tech and or recent experience working in the interventional radiology arena as an Interventional Radiology Technician

Experience working with C-Arm and ultrasound equipment

Experience supporting interventional radiology procedures

Ordering and training materials for procedures

Sterile technique experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office

BLS DUTIES:

Review procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed

Explain procedure to patients

Prepare patients for procedures

Assist as a scrub/surgical technician

Set up procedure room with necessary equipment

Draw up Intravenous medication

Enter patient information into C-Arm

Assist with processing X-ray images

Sterilize equipment

Attend meetings with physicians

Review CPT and ICD-9 codes for accurate billing

Dispose hazardous materials

Maintain and order supplies
