As a fast growing full-service veterinary hospital in New Waverly, Texas, we offer comprehensive care for pets including urgent/emergency, surgery, dental care, and equine services. We are hiring multiple positions. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners!
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care for all animals
- Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
- Implement Fear Free techniques to reduce stress in patients
- Promote animal welfare and preventive care
- Assist with discharge planning and client education
Required Skills For Specific Positions:
- Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician
- Experience with IV catheterization and anesthesia
- Proficient in catheterization, venipuncture, and medication administration
- Knowledge of internal medicine, emergency care, and surgery
- Ability to perform X-rays, lab work, and critical care procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with triage and emergency care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Technical Skills:
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Discharge planning
