Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Everett, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3×12 or 4×12 Hours (7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large Emergency Department managing a broad acuity range, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health patients
• Support acute care boarding within the ED environment at a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level III Pediatric Trauma Center
• Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float between units or sister facilities as operationally required
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; post-submittal RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-acuity emergency settings including stroke, STEMI, and trauma care
• Familiarity with thrombectomy center protocols and STEMI receiving center workflows
• Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling, including holiday and weekend availability
