Fleet Mechanic

Ace Outdoor Services is looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of trucks and equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, can troubleshoot mechanical issues, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair CAT equipment and Ford trucks
- Perform routine automotive maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brakes, belts, and related components
- Maintain and repair snow plows and salt spreaders
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed
- Inspect equipment and help ensure units are safe, clean, and ready for use
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work efficiently while meeting company safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with general automotive, truck, or equipment repair
- Welding experience
- Familiarity with CAT equipment and Ford trucks preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL-A is a plus
- Ability to safely use mechanic tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently when needed
Schedule
- Full-time
- Flexible availability may be required, including overnights and weekends , particularly during seasonal operations
