Ramada Davenport seeks diligent Room Attendants to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment that meets established hotel standards. This role involves detailed cleaning tasks, guest interaction, and prompt communication of maintenance needs within a supportive medium-sized team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain the common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as needed
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts
• Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions
• Report damages or repairs needed to management
• Manage lost and found items with the Housekeeping Manager
• Lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Work weekends and holidays as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Ability to work well within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using eco-friendly and standard commercial cleaning products
• Familiarity with housekeeping tools and equipment
• Willingness to pursue supervisory opportunities and cross-training in other hotel departments
