Aviation Management Officer

Job Title
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Develops wildlife aviation directives and guidelines to ensure safe and effective aviation operations.
- Responsible for ensuring all WS aviation operations comply with applicable Federal and State laws.
- Advises and provides authoritative advice and counsel at all levels of management.
- Oversees all aviation safety and training in WS programs.
- Develops and implements safety and training of unmanned aerial systems.
- Provides nationwide leadership, direction, coordination, and oversight of WS aviation management.
