This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud networking solutions—primarily in **Microsoft Azure**. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise networking, cloud architecture, and security. Experience using **Palo Alto firewalls** and **Cisco networking** equipment is preferred.* Design, implement, and maintain cloud network infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.* Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Application Gateways.* Monitor and optimize network performance using native Azure tools and third-party monitoring platforms.* Assist in defining and implementing cloud network architecture best practices, including automation, governance, and disaster recovery.* Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues across hybrid environments.* Document network topologies, policies, and configurations as part of IT compliance and change management.* Provide mentorship and guidance to other network engineers and support teams.* Collaborate cross-functionally with Azure Cloud engineers, Active Directory Engineers, Server Administration, and Information Security teams to ensure smooth IT operations.* Assist with maintaining compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI, etc.).* Participate in IT change management processes.* Follow ITIL best practices in service management (incident, problem, and change management).* 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in cloud networking (preferably Azure).* Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure networking services, including: + VNet peering, routing, DNS, NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, etc.* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.* Proficient in troubleshooting network issues using tools like Wireshark and Azure Network Watcher.* Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.* Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams.* Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (especially virtual) and Cisco networking is preferred.**Technology Skills:*** Strong hands-on experience with:* Azure networking (including hybrid connectivity solutions)* Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and experience in IT service management environments.
