Mechanical Assembler
Advanced Technology & Research Corporation ( is seeking to fill the following full-time permanent position. Based in Maryland and incorporated in 1973, ATR is an equal-opportunity engineering company with a solid reputation in various engineering disciplines for the government and Fortune 500 commercial customers.Salary for the position is competitive according to qualifications. Perform quality assembly of mechanical assemblies in a clean, air conditioned work environment. Ability to understand assembly drawings for mechanical devices.
- Mechanical assembly of package handling machinery
- Learn ATR legacy machines and perform upgrades and refurbishment
- 3+ years working experience with mechanical assembly and repair
- High mechanical aptitude and curiosity
- Proficient with mechanical and electrical hand tools
- Demonstrated quality workmanship
- Specialized technical training A PLUS
- Good English communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
