Job Summary and Qualifications What You Will Do In This Role: You will plan, direct and oversee technical aspects of the Imaging Department in regards to services and programs, and evaluate these programs regularly. You will prepare necessary reports and documents. You are responsible for ensuring that assigned sections are adequately staffed for performance of duties. You will operate x- ray or diagnostic equipment. You must demonstrate a working knowledge of ALL modalities, ability to educate/explain exams performed, and demonstrate above average skill in your modality specialty, performing all ordered exams, both invasive and non-invasive. You will provide patient and family education. Qualifications Graduate of AMA approved school of radiologic technology is required. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License is required. Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by Texas Medical Board is required. One year of Lead Technologist experience in Diagnostic Imaging is preferred. American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
