Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid) Duration: 6-Month Contract Position Summary A leading technology and manufacturing organization is seeking a Talent Acquisition Project & Recruiting Specialist to support both strategic hiring initiatives and Talent Acquisition projects. This role combines full-cycle recruiting responsibilities with project coordination and process improvement efforts to help drive hiring success and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience managing both permanent and contingent workforce hiring while partnering closely with business leaders, recruiting teams, and external vendors. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned business functions across permanent and contingent workforce needs. Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, workforce strategy, and recruiting plans. Support contingent workforce hiring activities, including requisition management, vendor coordination, candidate evaluation, and hiring process execution. Develop targeted sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Provide market intelligence and hiring insights to support workforce planning and decision-making. Deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Project & Process Support Support Talent Acquisition initiatives, implementations, and process improvement projects. Coordinate project activities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. Track project progress and identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement. Document recruiting workflows and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and consistency. Assist with vendor management activities, ensuring adherence to established processes, timelines, and service expectations. Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status and recruiting activities. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership and business stakeholders to achieve hiring goals. Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Talent Acquisition function. Mentor and support less experienced team members when appropriate. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Minimum 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience. Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a corporate or in-house environment preferred. Experience supporting contingent workforce hiring programs and vendor relationships. Background recruiting within technology, engineering, advanced manufacturing, or related industries is highly desirable. Experience supporting process improvement, implementation, or transformation initiatives is preferred. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Ability to balance recruiting responsibilities with project-based work. Experience working with external staffing vendors and contingent workforce programs. Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-through skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented approach.
