Sit- Down Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Warehouse Position

The role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse located in Elyria, OH. This includes loading and unloading trucks, accurately scanning materials using RF equipment, and ensuring proper staging and storage of material.

Pay rate: $17.50 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm

This is a temp-to-hire position.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Use RF scanners to accurately track and record inventory
• Stack, stage, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Verify products against paperwork for accuracy, including product, product count size, count of pallets, carrier, correct labels, and packing list location
• Arrange cartons on pallets and load trucks while considering size, weight, height, and other characteristics
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining productivity
• Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain productivity
• Ability to work cooperatively with others

Qualifications & Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to verify products against documentation
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods
• Strong teamwork and cooperation skills

• Candidates will be required to complete a forklift skills assessment during the interview process
